Since its establishment in 2012, the RMHC Malta Chapter has been dedicated to helping children and young people with intellectual, developmental, or social difficulties, along with their families. Our first major project, the RMHC Malta Learning Centre , launched in 2019, provides essential support services like counselling, therapy, and educational workshops to improve the quality of life for families, children and young people in need.
In celebration of 50 years of RMHC worldwide, a special art exhibition was hosted in 2024 at The Malta Postal Museum & Arts Hub in Valletta. The event featured works from over 20 talented Malta-based artists. Attendees were able to explore a unique collection of art pieces created exclusively for the occasion.
As part of the celebration, an online silent auction also took place on October 11, 2024, from 21:00 to 22:00. Proceeds from the auction went directly toward supporting RMHC Malta’s programmes, including the introduction of a Motor Sensory Room programme. The event marked another step forward in RMHC Malta’s mission of Keeping Families Close during times of need.
